Frequently Asked Questions

  • In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and your goals. I’ll ask about your history, current challenges, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. Above all, my intention is to create a safe, respectful, and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. I believe the relationship we build together is the heart of therapy, and I’ll always hold that as the foundation of our work.

  • My work is rooted in trauma-informed, body-based, and parts-oriented approaches. I integrate Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal-informed tools to help you reconnect with your body and inner wisdom. For OCD, I offer Inference-based CBT (I-CBT), an evidence-based 12 module program. Together, we’ll build awareness of what’s happening inside you and bring understanding and compassion to the parts of you that have been carrying pain.

  • I currently offer virtual sessions for Colorado residents. Online therapy provides flexibility, convenience, and the opportunity to heal from the comfort of your home.

  • Therapy is a deeply personal process, and the length varies depending on your goals and needs. Some clients find relief in a few months, while others choose to engage in longer-term work for ongoing support. When working through trauma and attachment patterns, longer-term therapy can be supportive for building trust, safety, and lasting change.
