Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect in a first session?
In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and your goals. I’ll ask about your history, current challenges, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. Above all, my intention is to create a safe, respectful, and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. I believe the relationship we build together is the heart of therapy, and I’ll always hold that as the foundation of our work.
How long does therapy typically last?
Therapy is a deeply personal process, and the length varies depending on your goals and needs. Some clients find relief in a few months, while others choose to continue longer-term for ongoing support. When working through trauma and attachment patterns, extended therapy can be especially supportive in building trust, safety, and lasting change.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
I currently offer virtual sessions for Colorado residents. Online therapy provides flexibility, convenience, and the opportunity to heal from the comfort of your home.
What is the cost of sessions and do you take insurance?
Sessions are $150 for 50 minutes and are self-pay. My priority is offering flexible, holistic, and personalized care. Maintaining a smaller caseload allows me to bring more presence to our work, stay current with advanced training, and collaborate with other providers when helpful.
For clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement, I can provide superbills or work through Thrizer, which allows you to pay only your copay once your deductible is met. I am happy to look up your out-of-network insurance benefits to help determine cost of therapy.
