Anxiety, Depression, & Life Transitions

Anxiety, Depression & Life Transitions: Signs of Inner Transformation

Anxiety, depression, and life transitions are often misunderstood as problems to be fixed, but what if they are actually signals that something inside you is calling for change? When old ways of coping, thinking, or navigating the world stop working, your body and psyche respond. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, but these experiences are often invitations to grow beyond past patterns and step into something new.

Rather than just managing symptoms, I take a somatic and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach to help you understand and work with what’s happening beneath the surface.

My Approach to Anxiety, Depression & Life Transitions

  • Honoring Life Transitions as a Threshold to Growth
Whether you’re navigating a career change, relationship shifts, or a deep personal transformation, transitions can feel unsettling. But they also hold the potential for profound growth. We will explore what’s being left behind, what’s emerging, and how to support yourself through the uncertainty of change.

  • Somatic Awareness & Nervous System Regulation
Anxiety and depression are deeply connected to your body’s nervous system. If your system is stuck in survival mode, whether in fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown, it can create cycles of overwhelm or exhaustion. Through somatic work, your body can shift out of these states and build a felt sense of safety.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Parts Work
Anxiety and depression often stem from inner conflict — parts of you trying to protect you while others feel burdened, lost, or stuck. IFS helps you develop a compassionate relationship with these parts, allowing for deep healing and integration so you can move forward with more clarity and ease.

Rather than pushing anxiety or depression away, we'll work together to listen to what these symptoms are trying to communicate, while supporting nervous system regulation, helping you build a more compassionate relationship with yourself and step into a more aligned, empowered way of being.
